MATOVU ASUMAN

Asuman is a Senior legal Associate/ Advocate of the High Court of Uganda. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) (Hons) from Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) & Diploma in Legal practice from Law Development Centre (LDC).

Asuman currently serves as the Head of Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) a position he was elevated to after his diploma clerkship and eventual enrolment as an advocate

He at the time of his clerkship exhibited an impressive grasp and understanding of the law, and is as passionate a litigator as he is an impeccable one. This compelled the administration to entrust him with the litigation department.

As the head of the department, he is charged with the responsibility to oversee and guide legal drafting and opinions, mediation and arbitration, Interviewing Clients leading to litigation as well as Litigation of cases in all fields of law.
