BOJO IVAN LAGHU

Ivan is a Legal Associate and the Deputy Head of the Research Department in the firm. He is part of the Civil and land Department; the Research department; the Criminal Department; Corporate, Commercial and Mineral Resource Department; and the securities and Land Transactions team.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Uganda Christian University, a Post graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Law Development Centre, a Certificate in Alternative Dispute resolution from the University of Cincinnati, a certificate in Mediation and Arbitration from ALARM (African Leadership & Reconciliation Ministries) and a para-counseling certificate from Uganda Christian University.

He began his legal work Career with the High Court of Uganda (Commercial Division) as a Legal Researcher and he later joined the firm as a legal intern in 2018, prior to joining Wandaz Products Limited as an Executive Assistant.

With this experience, Ivan returned to the firm as a Clerkship Student from the Law Development Center in 2021 and he was retained to join the firm’s Research department; the Civil and land Department; the Criminal Department; Corporate, Commercial and Mineral Resource Department; the securities and Land Transactions team.
