Deborah is an advocate and Senior Legal Associate at the firm. She holds a Bachelor of
Laws Degree from Makerere University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice
from Law development Center Kampala.
She is the current Head of the Labour, Employment and Family Department. She is a
strict disciplinarian and brings a motherly touch to the firm and it is for these qualities
that she sits on the disciplinary committee together with management.
Prior to joining the firm, Deborah briefly worked with SpensorNgaruyeRuhindi
Advocates as an intern before joining Isabirye& Company Advocates where she
practiced for 3 years before joining us at the firm.
Her areas of practice are not limited to her department, but also stretch as far as
general litigation, recruitment and termination advisory as well as advocacy and Human
rights. She has severally been recognized as one of the best performing lawyers at
Uganda Law Society’s legal aid (Probono Project)
