MUGUNGA PATIENCE

Legal Associate/Advocate - Head Civil Practice

Patience is a Legal Associate/Advocate - Head Civil Practice with a proven track record in the areas of legal research, Banking, Finance, Corporate Advisory, Commercial Litigation and Dispute, and Intellectual Property.

She is a graduate of Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Uganda Christian University, Mukono and holds a Post graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, Kampala. She had an early working experience with the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development as a Research Assistant under the National Physical Development Plan project in 2012.  She worked briefly with Arcadia Advocates. In 2017, Patience was appointed to the Uganda Judiciary where she worked as a Legal Research Assistant in charge of the High Court of Uganda Holden at Mbale. She heads the Civil law Department at the firm and focuses on areas of Legal Research, land transactions, civil litigation, and advocacy among others.

She is a confident manager and enthusiastic leader; team player; thrives on challenges and has very good interpersonal and communication skills. Patience is driven by the thoughts of success, hard work, punctuality, determination, self-confidence, honesty and ability to cope up with challenges and learn from my mistakes
