MUSANGALA SIMON PETER.
Musangala Simon Peter is the Founder and Managing Partner of the Firm. He brings a wealth of experience in the firm from Web Advocates & Solicitors where he rose through the ranks from Legal Assistant to Associate Partner. He focuses on areas of general commercial and land litigation with emphasis in debt recovery, Mortgage creation/registration, employment, Property Management, insurance and commodity disputes among others. Musangala also has considerable experience of civil fraud and criminal matters and he has been involved in some of the leading cases in this area. He also now heads the minerals and natural resources practice at the firm.

ISAAC OTIM
Isaac is our Head of Administration and Securities at the firm. He pursued his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at Makerere University Kampala.
He joined the firm as a legal intern in 2016, when he demonstrated good communication, interpersonal, leadership and administrative skills that earned him a position of legal Assistant after his internship period and eventually the position of Head Administration.
He prior to joining the firm worked with Star-times Uganda Limited in the media and communications department, where his role was to interact with client challenges and offer quick solutions as well as manage communication. He is a passionate Debator and public speaker and often times trains young stars to become articulate and critical thinkers. He Fellowships with Writing Our World, a youth led organization as a Creative leadership Coach.
He boasts of a vast experience in Security perfection and debt recovery as well as Land transactions and Company Law. He has special interest in Human rights and International Law which areas he is currently doing his research on.

MATOVU SHIFFAH
Shiffah is a Senior legal Associate/Advocate and commissioner for oaths in the firm. She is part of the litigation department and heads the Research and Insurance team. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) (Hons) from Uganda Makerere University and Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, Kampala.
She began her early legal work experience with the Chief Magistrates Court of Mengo at Kampala where she mostly did legal research; in the same line, she did her legal clerkship with Nanggwala, Rezida and Company Advocates. She also worked with S-M CATHAN GROUP as a legal officer before joining Impala Legal Advocates and consultants as legal assistant.
With this wealth of experience, Shiffah joined the firm in 2016 as legal associate, joining the research, commercial and corporate law, securities and debt recovery department. She has since risen ranks to Senior Legal Associate.

Deborah is a Senior legal Associate/Advocate in the firm. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B) (Hons) from Makerere University, Kampala and a post graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre Kampala. She is the head of the Labour, Employment and Family Department. She is part of the litigation team of the firm.
She worked briefly with Spensor Ngaruye Ruhindi Advocates an intern in 2012.
Deborah joined us from Isabirye & Co. Advocates where she worked as an advocate of the High Court and all other courts subordinate to for 3 years.
Her areas of focus include labor law, employment consultancy, recruitment and termination advisory, Family law, land transactions, and advocacy among others.

MUGUNGA PATIENCE
Patience is a Legal Associate/Advocate with a proven track record in the areas of legal research, Banking, Finance, Corporate Advisory, Commercial Litigation and Dispute, and Intellectual Property.
She is a graduate of Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Uganda Christian University, Mukono and holds a Post graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, Kampala. She had an early working experience with the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development as a Research Assistant under the National Physical Development Plan project in 2012. She worked briefly with Arcadia Advocates. In 2017, Patience was appointed to the Uganda Judiciary where she worked as a Legal Research Assistant in charge of the High Court of Uganda Holden at Mbale. She heads the Civil law Department at the firm and focuses on areas of Legal Research, land transactions, civil litigation, and advocacy among others.
She is a confident manager and enthusiastic leader; team player; thrives on challenges and has very good interpersonal and communication skills. MATOVU ASUMAN
Asuman is a Legal Associate/Advocate in the firm. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B) (Hons) from Islamic University In Uganda (IUIU) and Diploma in Legal Practice from Law Development Centre. He exhibited the highest degree of legal understanding during his clerkship with the firm.

KAGOYE ROBINAH IKIYAI
Robinah is a legal Associate/Advocate in the firm. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) (Hons) from Makerere University and Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre, Kampala. She also holds masters in arts in labour policies and globalization degree from the University of Kassel & Berlin school of economics and Law.
She boasts of a prestigious international working experience having worked with the Industrial Global Union in Geneva, Switzerland as an intern. She started out with Mushabe, Munungu & Co advocates, where she discovered her passion in labor and employment laws and advocacy. She then joined the Uganda Workers Education Association with a role in research and advocacy. She then joined the Uganda nurses and midwives association as Legal officer, and moved briefly to the National organization for trade unions- Uganda as legal officer in 2017, before moving to private practice with Ms Tuhimbise and Co. Advocates where she was legal associate.
Robinah joins the Family, Labour, and Employement consultancy department as a legal associate/ advocate `of the firm.

NALULE SHAMIM RUKIYAH
Shamim is a Legal Associate/Advocate in the firm attached to the litigation Department. She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) (Hons) from Islamic University in Uganda and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre Kampala. She is currently a candidate for a Masters degree in Management and Public administration at the Uganda Management institute, Kampala Uganda
She joins us from Office of the Director of Public prosecution where she served as State Attorney for 5 years. Prior to that, she volunteered as legal officer in the Uganda Human Rights Commission where she championed legal awareness in the Eastern Part of Uganda.Shamim is also an expert in electoral laws. Shamim also practiced with Legal Aid Clinic at the Law Development Centre

BRENDAH NAMMANDE
Brendah is a Legal Research Associate in the firm. She holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from Makerere University and a Certificate in Project Management and Research, Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Justice law and order sector of Uganda.
She has worked with Uganda Christian Lawyers’ Fraternity, LASPNET, Hague Institute for Innovation of Laws (HiiL) and GIZ on the Land rights and Administration Project. She’s the firm’s expert in all the legal research, Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution. She joined the Firm in 2019 and she is attached to the department of Research and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

MUHEIRWE .R. ROBERT
Robert is a Legal Associate/Advocate at the firm. He holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Makerere University, Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre,Kampala and a Masters of Law in Oil and Gas from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He is also a professional advisor/lecturer at Uganda Christian University and Kampala International University. He is also the Deputy Head of the Oil and Gas Law at the Institute of Petroleum Studies-Kampala which is an affiliate college of Uganda Christian University.
He boosts of his vast knowledge in Oil and Gas Law, Litigation and Commercial Practice.
He started his Professional legal journey as a Legal Officer with the Ministry of Defense from 2009 to 2012 before becoming Senior Legal Officer in 2013.
From 2013 to 2016, he worked with Bbale & Co. Advocates as a Legal Officer, before joining t M/s MAGNA Advocates as an Associate. He joined us in 2019 as a legal associate and expert on oil and gas consultancy

CHANGHA CHARLES.
Changha Charles is a legal intern at Musangala Advocates and Solicitors and he is currently pursuing a bachelors degree in law at Uganda Christian University (4th year). He joined Musangala Advocates & Solicitors in July 2017 as a young man in his first year in law school.
For the time he has been at the firm, Changha Charles has amassed a lot of knowledge, experience and skills in Commercial Transactions, security perfection for example mortgage registration and release, caveat registration and release etc, Debt collection and recovery, Legal research, drafting of legal documents and conducting client interviews.

WAMBUI TITUS MACHARIA
Titus is a legal associate with the firm. He doubles as an advocate of the High Court of Uganda and the High Court of Kenya. He holds bachelor’s of Law degree (LLB) from Busoga University, Uganda and a post graduate diploma in legal practise from the Law Development Centre Kampala. Titus also holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from The University of Nairobi.
